State of Statelessmess(2024)
We are delighted to announce that State of Statelessness, the first Tibetan-language anthology feature film from Drung Tibetan Filmmakers Collective, is now rolling out across cinemas in the United Kingdom. Released nationally on 16 January 2026 through Day for Night Film, the UK run brings this intimate, powerful work to audiences deeply engaged with world cinema and stories from the margins.
State of Statelessness weaves four evocative stories of exile, migration, and memory, directed by Tibetan filmmakers working across India, the United States, and Vietnam. The film has been garnering enthusiastic responses from audiences and critics alike for its poignant portrayals of identity and belonging.
